Pavona Wines has carefully
selected the highest quality Zinfandel grapes from the Pancho
Rico Vineyard, located in Monterey County's San Ardo area along
the Pancho Rico Creek. The southernmost portion of the Salinas
Valley develops an ideal climate for growing Zinfandel. This
lively wine has been barrel aged 8 months in small French and
American oak barrels. The intense fruit flavor of the wine was
preserved by aging the wine predominantly in two and three year
old barrels.
This zesty, well-balanced wine
has concentrated raspberry flavors and very soft tannins. Try
this delicious wine with pizza, pastas in red sauces, and barbeque
meats.
